Pressings that use A-2 / B-2 lacquers have minor sound quality issues, particularly during the song, Money. Some copies also have a skip pressed into the grooves during the song. Such issues were corrected with the A-3 / B-3 cuttings, with the exception of the peak level distortion during the clocks at the beginning of the song Time (the MFSL UHQR LP is the only vinyl pressing without such distortion).
Copies of the Dark Side of the Moon LP with solid blue triangle labels without any stamper or mother numbers in the matrix are not U.K. releases (they are likely from Denmark). All U.K. EMI releases will have some sort of stamping code in the matrix.
Condition
The matte sleeve has only the right section of the gatefold open, and has a subtle green tinge. The inner left logo text is in blue.
This copy is strictly graded Very Good, with some minor scuffing to the cover and to the edges, a very acceptable condition.
This does include the two posters, but has no stickers, which probably adorned some wall or other in the early seventies. However, these are not crucial components and can actually be replaced fairly easily and cheaply as the second issue sleeve & accessories are identical.
This example has no skipping error during Money.
The vinyl is also graded Very Good, with some noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch but displays no major deterioration in sound quality
A really nice example of this now very sought after pressing. These do not come up for sale very often.
