SHAM 69 The Adventures Of Hersham Boys
(Numbered Limited Edition 2026 UK/EU
10-track LP pressed on 180 Gram Translucent Red
Vinyl)
The Adventures of the
Hersham Boys was released in 1979 and it is their most
successful album, peaking at No. 8 in the UK.
On their
first album, Sham 69 sounded like a gang of energetic punk
rockers, well-meaning and enthusiastic, but things had taken
a turn by the time they'd cut The Adventures of
Hersham Boys in 1979. Where their early recordings
took a lean, stripped-down approach, like a Cockney version
of the Ramones, this album is dominated by "anthemic"
melodies, with two major chart singles, "Hersham Boys" and
"Questions and Answers".
Limited to 750 individually
numbered copies. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with
gold hype sticker.
.
Prices include duties & taxes (where applicable). No extra costs.
