2022 UK/EU 10-track LP cut and remastered at Abbey Road
Studios and pressed on 180-gram Black Vinyl.
Released in March 1979, Manifesto marked Roxy
Music's return after a nearfour-year hiatus, reuniting the
core lineup of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and
Paul Thompson, alongside Gary Tibbs, Alan Spenner and Paul
Carrack, recorded at Ridge Farm and Basing Street and
remixed at Atlantic Studios. "Dance Away" became one of the
band's biggest hits, reaching number two in the UK, while
"Trash" served as the band's comeback single. The original
1979 pressing labelled its two sides "East Side" and "West
Side" rather than the conventional One and Two, a detail
preserved on this edition. Picture sleeve with hype sticker,
factory sealed) )
