<I>Jazz House Vibes</I> draws together tracks tracing the
long-running crossover between jazz and house, anchored by
two of the genre'sdefining names. <B>St Germain</B>'s
"What's New" represents the French act's own jazz-house
lineage, while <B>Motor City Drum Ensemble</B>'s "Raw Cuts
#3" comes from the now-legendary sample-based series that
first put Danilo Plessow on the map in 2008, despite the
alias's name, Motor City Drum Ensemble has nothing to do
with Detroit: Plessow named the project after his actual
hometown of Stuttgart, itself Germany's own "motor city"
thanks to Porsche and Mercedes-Benz headquarters there,
while paying tribute in sound to the Detroit soul, jazz and
house that shaped his production style. The compilation also
includes his remix of Nu Frequency's "Fallen Hero," alongside
contributions from Folamour, Kings Of Tomorrow, The Mighty
Bop and DJ Deep, spanning house's more soulful,
