Originally released in 2000, O Brother, Where Art
Thou? became a cultural phenomenon, reigniting
mainstream interest in American roots music and traditional
folk forms. Produced and curated by T-Bone Burnett for the
Coen Brothers' film, the collection draws on bluegrass, gospel,
country and Delta blues, performed by an inspired cast
including Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris,
Ralph Stanley, The Stanley Brothers and The Soggy
Bottom Boys. Certified 8× Platinum by the RIAA, the
album's blend of archival authenticity and newly recorded
interpretations introduced a new generation to early
20th-century American song traditions. The single pocket
