double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.
Following Born In The Echoes, The Chemical Brothers
returned with No Geography, a studio album that
strips their approach backto core elements without sounding
reduced in scale. Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons lean into
rhythm, repetition and pressure here, building tracks that feel
direct, physical and tightly engineered while still leaving room
for the duo's taste forwarped detail and sudden shifts in
atmosphere. Several tracks feature vocals from
Aurora, whose contributions were written and
recorded in close collaboration with the band, while Japanese
rapper Nene appears on "Eve Of Destruction". The
result is a record that reconnects with the propulsion of The
Chemical Brothers' earlier work while keeping the production
sharp and contemporary. Housed in a single pocket picture
sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal wear, whilst the vinyl
shows a couple of small hairlines on sides A and B, not
impeding playback and remaining in a strong Excellent
condition XDUSTLP11) )
