NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC NOW Yearbook Presents | The 60s Volume 3: 1965-1966 (2026 UK/EU 54-track triple album 3-LP pressed on Blue Vinyl. The story of the sixties decade continues with volume three focusing on the pivotal years 1965-1966. Opening with landmark vocal performances from Dusty Springfield, The Righteous Brothers, The Walker Brothers and The Beach Boys, before moving through beat and folk-rock highlights from The Kinks, The Animals, The Mamas & The Papas and The Byrds. The first disc closes with soul standards from The Temptations and Percy Sledge. LP2 shifts toward soul and crossover pop, led by Ike & Tina Turner and strong Motown representation from The Four Tops, The Supremes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas and Stevie Wonder, alongside pop and easy-listening turns from Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and Roy Orbison. LP3 opens with The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" and takes in rock-leaning hits from The Troggs and The Spencer Davis Group, Bob Dylan's socially engaged songwriting, and girl-group classics from The Supremes and The Shangri-Las, before closing with The Beach Boys, The Mamas & The Papas and Simon & Garfunkel's "Homeward Bound." Together, the collection reflects a period in which pure pop, soul, beat and emerging songwriting sophistication converged. Housed inside a single pocket picture sleeve, factory sealed).
