CHRIS REA On The Beach (40th Anniversary 2026 UK/EU limited edition 10-track LP pressed on Sea Blue Marble Vinyl. Originally released in 1986, On The Beach reached UK Top 20 and number one in the Netherlands, going on to sell over a million copies and establishing the sound Chris Rea would build much of his career around: gravelly baritone vocals set against smooth, Balearic-inflected slide guitar. The album was produced by Rea alongside Dave Richards, recorded at Anderburr Recording Studios and mixed at Mountain Studios, with a supporting cast including bassist Eoghan O'Neill, drummers Adrian Rea and Dave Mattacks, and keyboardist Max Middleton. This special anniversary edition marks the album's return to vinyl in a cool summer Sea Blue Marble pressing! Picture sleeve replicating the original cover artwork, hype sticker & factory sealed. Recommended).
