Originally released in 1997, <I>Cryptic</I> marked a distinct
shift in the Edge Of Sanity catalogue, with Roberth Karlsson
stepping in on vocals in place of Dan Swanö. Long one of the
more overlooked entries in the band's run, it leans into a
heavier, more groove-driven death metal attack, with tracks
such as "Hell Written", "Uncontroll Me", "Not Of This World"
and "Bleed You Dry" pushing the band into darker, more
punishing territory. This reissue presents the album in newly
remastered form by Dan Swanö himself and, notably, marks
