Released by Smithsonian Folkways in 1999 and mastered in HDCD, this edition offers excellent audio clarity drawn from historic mono and stereo sources. Includes classics such as Little Boxes, Waist Deep in the Big Muddy, Guantanamera, The Bells of Rhymney, and Wimoweh, alongside lesser-known gems and traditional pieces curated with detailed annotations from Mark Greenberg. Housed in a gatefold card sleeve with full booklet, featuring archival photography by David Gahr and Francis Specker).
