For its 50th anniversary, Mobile Fidelity presents Mothership Connection in audiophile sound for the first time on 45RPM vinyl. Sourced from the original analog master tapes (30 IPS for Record One, 15 IPS for Record Two), this numbered 180-gram 2LP set was mastered with DSD 256 technology, pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing, and housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket. The wider groove space of 45RPM playback unlocks explosive bass, crystalline horns, and intoxicating detail - funk as it was meant to be heard.

George Clinton launched listeners into one of the most
visionary funk odysseys ever recorded. Released in 1975,
<I>Mothership Connection</I> tied together science-fiction
fantasy, Afrofuturism, and cosmic funk in a platinum-certified
masterpiece now ranked by <I>Rolling Stone</I> as the
363rd Greatest Album of All Time. Featuring the iconic singles
