composer exploring Celtic tradition more directly than ever before.
Blending original compositions with re-imagined traditional melodies
and 20th-century pieces, the album is rich in atmosphere and texture.
Initially recorded with hand-played acoustic instruments before later
layering synthesizers and additional instrumentation. Highlights include
the single 'Women of Ireland', the traditional 'She Moves Through the
Fair' which was later echoed in <B> Simple Minds'</B> 'Belfast Child',
and the haunting 'Celtic Rain', which would go on to be sampled by
