By the time of this record, the band had narrowed from a four-piece to a trio following Simon Brenner's departure, and the album went on to considerably outperform its predecessor internationally, led by "Such A Shame," a top 10 hit across Europe, and the title track, which reached the Top 40 in multiple territories including the US. This 40th anniversary edition is cut at half-speed by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, overseen by Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of the band's late frontman Mark Hollis, adding further depth to the recording.
