double album 2-LP compilation pressed on 180-gram
audiophile Black Vinyl. This collection brings
together the Commodores' biggest hits, funk staples "Machine
Gun" and "Brick House" alongside the string of ballads that
carried them through the late '70s and into the mid-'80s:
"Three Times A Lady," "Still," "Sail On" and "Lady (You Bring
Me Up)." Also included are "Easy," "Just To Be Close To You"
and "Nightshift," spanning the band's Motown catalogue from
their earliest funk instrumentals to the more polished
pop-soul sound that made them one of the era's most
consistent hitmakers, with their brass musicians and co-lead
singer Lionel Richie. The set closes with a bonus
track "Forever Came Today" drawn from Motown
Superstars Sing Motown Superstars. Gatefold picture
sleeve with gold hype sticker. Recommended) )
