PREYER Terminator (Rare 1986 UK 8-track vinyl LP, the sole studio album from the Welsh Heavy Metal outfit and a sought-after release on the cult Ebony Records label. Formed in the mid-1980s as the original NWOBHM explosion was beginning to subside, Preyer nevertheless carried the movement's uncompromising spirit forward, delivering a potent blend of muscular riffs, twin-guitar attack and traditional British Heavy Metal that recalls the likes of Judas Priest and Accept. Recorded atEbony Studios and produced by label founder Darryl Johnston, Terminator has subsequently become an underground favourite among NWOBHM and obscure British Metal collectors, with tracks including the title cut, Leather And Chains, Beware The Night, Rock Crusader and the appropriately named closing instrumental Riffarama. Housed in the striking illustrated picture sleeve with artwork by Ian Simmons. The sleeve shows some light wear and the vinyl shows minimal signs of play. Only the second copy we have seen, one of the more elusive albums from the Ebony Records catalogue, and increasingly difficult to find! EBON40).
