FRANK SINATRA Collected (Limited Edition 2023 UK/EU 31-track double album 2-LP pressed on two 180-gram audiophile Black Vinyl records. Behind Sinatra's signature song lies a genuine gift: on holiday in France, Paul Anka heard "Comme d'habitude," bought the rights on the spot, and rewrote it with Sinatra specifically in mind, believing at the time that Sinatra was about to retire for good. Sinatra recorded "My Way" in a single take in December 1968, and it went on to become the most-played song at funerals in the English-speaking world. This 31-track collection, compiled in association with Frank Sinatra Enterprises, spans five decades and gathers the songs that defined him: "Love And Marriage," "Night And Day," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Fly Me To The Moon," "Strangers In The Night," "It Was A Very Good Year," "That's Life," "Something Stupid," "Theme From New York, New York" and "My Way" all feature, alongside his celebrated collaborations with Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Quincy Jones, and duets with daughter Nancy Sinatra and, decades later, Antônio Carlos Jobim on "The Girl From Ipanema." This edition is presented in a stylish black and gold gatefold picture sleeve with extensive liner notes and a gold hype sticker. Essential).
