UK/EU 13-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram
Black Vinyl. Live Alive draws together
performances from four separate shows, the Montreux Jazz
Festival in July 1985, the Austin Opera House across two
nights in July 1986, and Dallas Starfest that same month,
compiled into Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's first
official live album. Released in November 1986, the record
captures the band at a genuinely demanding point in their
touring schedule, and includes extended versions of "Texas
Flood," "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" and "Life Without You,"
alongside "Pride And Joy" and "Superstition." Nearly every
song on the record was subsequently performed at almost
every date of the extensive tour that followed. Presented
inside a gatefold picture sleeve. Essential) )
