PINK FLOYD In Concert: 1989 European Tour - Crew Memorabilia
(Stunning & unique collection of memorabilia collected by a veteran
crew member with over 30 years experience behind the scenes. Our
man was quite literally 'on-the-road' with the stars in his trusted role
as the artists' tour coach driver. This collection of items was
accumulated during the Summer 1989 European leg of the World Tour
and comprises a superb array of rarities, many of which were not
available to the general public, such as VIP passes and crew clothing.
One of the highlights is a rare original an unworn Tag Heuer
chronograph sports watch which has a golden face printed with the 'PF'
World Tour logo, comes in the original plastic container with extra
links for the metal bracelet strap along with instructions, guarantee
and housed in the original card box - this was handed out in very
limited numbers to select crew members only, plus much, much
more!)

This is no ordinary pack of memorabilia items; this features items from one of those tours that go down in the history books. Post Roger Waters with the band initially Dave Gilmour & Nick Mason and recorded the 'A Momentary Lapse of Reason' album with Richard Wright becoming a paid band member. The tour in support of the album visited many major venues around the World with shows recorded and released as the 'Delicate Sound Of Thunder' [recorded over five nights at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, New York in August 1988].
This pack consists of items from the European leg of the tour from 13th May to 15th July where the band performed at Monza Race Track, London Arena and ended with an amazing show in Venice.
As mentioned above many of the items were never available to be purchased by the general public and many produced in small numbers for crew members only.
Tour Programme, Tickets & Passes
Includes a copy of the 28-page 13" x 9" tour programme featuring tour dates, crew and loads of colour photographs, with a great 'light bulb man' glossy picture cover. Two different souvenir style ticket stubs, one for the show on the 22nd March at Livorno Stadium and one for the 25th June at Stuttgart. Plus three laminated 'Total Access' tour passes including one for Venice and Stockholm.
Clothing
The major part of this pack consists of eight different pieces of clothing, with some worn during the tour but is all in a superb condition.

Crew T-shirt includes:
Unworn white short sleeved t-shirt issued as a thank you to the local crew, listing different companies on the front and '...would like to thank Local Crews' on the back.
Unworn red short sleeved t-shirt for the first European show at Werchter printed with 'Pink Floyd In Concert' and 'Werchter 89' plus 'Belga Live' logo which is also on the back.
Grey T-shirt from the promoters printed with 'Mama Concerts & Lippmann + RAU Present' in multi colours, and 'Pink Floyd' in pink text on the front left breast.
Unworn yellow short sleeved t-shirt issued for Staff at the 29th June Paris show, features two company logos on the front with 'Staff' along with venue details in black plus band name with light bulb logo in pink all on the back.
Tour T-shirts include:
Unworn Black short sleeved printed with the light bulb man image on the front along with the band name, the back is printed with the map of Europe along with country names.
White short sleeved printed with the two PF logo designs [on the back and the other on the front], along with the band name on the front.
Sweat Shirts
Includes 2 different sweat shirts including a grey & white fleece top embroidered with the band name in yellow and in red with a 'light bulb head man' image between with this in unworn condition.
The other is black and manufactured by Brockum with the company logo on the left arm with five different country flags; the right arm has 'The Agency' in blue. The front has the band name with an image of the Planet Earth and jet plane, plus 'Live! World Tour 1987, 1988, 1989' in blue and all embroidered, also in unworn condition
Tag Heuer Chronograph Sports Watch
Rare original an unworn Tag Heuer chronograph sports watch which has a golden face printed with the 'PF' World Tour logo, comes in the original plastic container with extra links for the metal bracelet strap along with instructions, guarantee and housed in the original card box.
These are usually found showing signs of wear after being warn to death and without any of the original paper work of packing, so to find one in such an amazing condition is so very rare and the fact that they were handed out in very limited numbers to select crew members only makes this a true gem and the highlight of this fantastic pack.
