QUEEN Man On The Prowl / Thank God It's Christmas (Extremely
rare 1984 UK solid centre white label vinyl 7" test pressing, for the DJ
double A-side promo. This has plain cream coloured labels with hand
annotations, one label simply has 'Queen'and the other side also has
'Xmas Song', and was before Thank God It's Christmas was released
as the single. This has machine stamped matrices 'QUEEN DJ
5A-1-1-1' & 'QUEEN DJ 5AAB-1-1-1' in the run-out groove, housed in a
plain die-cut sleeve.
We are strictly grading this as Very Good.
The record has been stored for some time in a PVC sleeve, resulting
in a misted / speckled surface appearance due to
off-gassing. On play-testing, this is just cosmetic and plays
through with just the odd light crackle & click. Crucially, no skips or
jumps are present and the record plays through from beginning to
end, and actually sounds Excellent).
