KEB' MO' Keb' Mo' (Original Master Recording limited edition 13-track LP mastered at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab by Krieg Wunderlich on the Gain 2 Ultra Analog System, specially plated and pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing on 180-gram H igh Definition Vinyl cut at 33RPM. Released in 1994, Keb' Mo' marked a striking major-label debut that reasserted the vitality of contemporary folk-blues without leaning on imitation or nostalgia. Blending country blues traditions with adistinctly modern sensibility, Kevin Moore's self-titled album showcases his gifts as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, built around National steel guitar, expressive harmonica and intimate, close-mic'd vocals. The performances feel direct and unforced, favouring clarity, groove and emotional honesty over revivalist pastiche. Rooted in Southern musical heritage, the album balances original material such as "Victims Of Comfort" and "Angelina" with respectful interpretations of Robert Johnson classics including "Come On In My Kitchen" and "Kindhearted Woman Blues."
