ROBERT PALMER Collected (Limited Edition 2026 UK/EU 27-track double album 2-LP compilation pressed on 180-gram Purple Vinyl, individually numbered and limited to 5,000 copies. Robert Palmer moved between rock, funk, reggae and blue-eyed soul across a career that began fronting Vinegar Joe before he broke through as a solo artist recording in New Orleans, the Bahamas and London. "Addicted to Love" won Palmer his first Grammy, for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1987; he won the same award again two years later for "Simply Irresistible." Both singles were carried by strikingly styled videos, choreographed lineups of models playing instruments in matching black dresses and red lipstick, that helped define the visual language of early MTV. This collection also draws on his work fronting Vinegar Joe, his hit collaboration with The Power Station, and his duet with UB40 on "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight," alongside signature solo tracks "Every Kinda People" and "Johnny and Mary." This special edition is housed in a gatefold sleeve with a 4-page booklet of liner notes, plus hype sticker. Recommended).
