BILL WITHERS Still Bill (2026 UK/EU limited edition 10-track
LP pressed on 180-gram Translucent Green
Vinyl. Following the success of Just As I
Am, Bill Withers delivered a defining statement
with Still Bill, his second studio album and arguably
his finest. Released in 1972, it includes the timeless classics
"Lean On Me", "Use Me", and "Who Is He (And What Is He to
You)?", songs that continue to resonate with fresh power
more than fifty years on. Still Bill is full of layered
grooves, soul-deep rhythms, and songwriting that marries
emotional directness with remarkable complexity. Withers'
voice carries warmth and integrity, and his nuanced
arrangements-straddling soul, funk, gospel, and blues-come
on effortlessly, drawing listeners in without ever sounding
forced. From the raw funk of "Lonely Town, Lonely Street" to
the intimate confessions of "Let Me In Your Life", every track
offers something special. Whether you're a longtime fan or
discovering his catalogue for the first time, Still Bill
remains a vital, essential listen. Housed in a deluxe gatefold
sleeve with linen laminate textured finish including a
booklet featuring a reflective essay on Bill Withers by
Grammy-nominated poet, journalist and humanitarian Kevin
Powell. Individually gold-foil numbered plus a gold hype
sticker. Essential)
