PETER GABRIEL Behind The Scenes 2014 - A Special Selection (Incredibly rare 2014 UK limited edition box set, produced exclusively for Behind The Scenes guests on Gabriel’s European tour. The set contains 20 professionally mastered live CDs across ten complete 2-disc concert recordings, spanning festival appearances in 2004 through to the 2007, 2012, 2013 and 2014 tours. These recordings are taken directly from the front-of-house desk, exactly as the audience heard them – full sets, unedited, capturing the atmosphere and dynamics of the performance in the room that night. These years saw Gabriel performing with one of his most celebrated live line-ups, including longtime collaborators such as Tony Levin, David Rhodes, Manu Katché, Ged Lynch and Richard Evans – musicians whose chemistry and restraint underpin the emotional weight of these arrangements. Across the different tours you can hear the shift from the dense, percussive sound of the mid-2000s into the more spacious, reflective arrangements of the later orchestral-leaning shows, making the set a fascinating document of his evolving live approach. Each show comes housed in its own mini gatefold sleeve, all contained within the original individually stamped outer box with printed insert, and also includes the original European Tour 2014 lanyard and tote bag.
