THE REAL SHOOBEEDOO Reminiscing (2019 US limited edition reissue of the 1982 5-track LP, now pressed on Audiophile quality 180 Gram Heavyweight Vinyl housed in a card picture sleeve complete with blue obi strip. Fields who played with Pharoah Sanders while he was living in Motor City, worked with Sun Ra in the late 1970s and early 80s and who was also a close associate of the Afro-centric TRIBE label and artist collective, leaving his marks on a few essential TRIBE sessionssuch as Phil Ranelin’s “The Time Is Now!” as well as Ranelin & Wendell Harrison’s masterpiece “A Message From The Tribe”. He's joined by Billy McCoy, Tani Tabal, Allen Barns, Wendell Harrison and others in this delightful take on spiritual jazz with a distinct avant-garde leaning. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl appears barely played TWM29) ***Limited to only 500 copies***.
