Specials</I> brings together the band's most influential
recordings from their original run between 1979 and 1984,
capturing the full impact of their politically charged,
genre-defining output. From the stark debut single
"Gangsters" through to the widescreen social commentary of
"Ghost Town" and the Special AKAera, this collection
documents one of the most important British groups of the
late 20th century. The album includes both UK number-one
singles - "Too Much Too Young" and the full-length version of
"Ghost Town" - alongside Top 10 hits such as "A Message To
You, Rudy", "Rat Race", "Do Nothing", and the two-part
"Stereotypes". Also featured is "Nelson Mandela", the
<B>Special AKA</B> recording that became one of the most
prominent protest songs of the 1980s. Issued here for the
