charming one page letter written by Brian Jones in blue
ballpoint pen to a fan after she saw the Stones play live at the
ABC Cinema, Lincoln on 22nd September 1964. Brian writes,
"DearBarbara, Thank you for your letter. I am glad you
enjoyed the show at Lincoln last time we were there. I'm not
sure when we'll be coming back, as the tour dates for our next
tour haven't been fixed yet. I'm pleased to hear that you like
the new E.P. Thanks for helping to make it such a great
success. I must rush dear, honestly - Brian Jones x". This
fabulous memento has been safely kept by its recipient since
1964, only now being offered for sale for the first time. The
notepaper measures 5 1/2" x 7" (13.5cm x 18cm) and
remains in good condition. A treasure!).
