This was Dexter's second album for Blue Note & the solid rhythm section propels him from his West Coast sensibilities into the more vibrant East Coast vibe.
The sleeve is stunning [and what a sleeve it is!] showing just a couple of very minor corner bumps. The front image is clear and bright and retains a wonderful bright sheen, the reverse panel is still a nice off-white and all edges are free of scuffs/wear. The spine & all text on the reverse remains clear. The rear panel still retains its import sticker and also a small pen annotation of the customer name with period correct pricing.
The vinyl is visually graded EX- with some light cosmetic blemishes & the odd faint hairline to show for its sixty years. There is no evidence of distortion or burring throughout. What little surface noise there is remains predominately between tracks & even this is minimal.
A very nice copy indeed.
