THE SECRET SISTERS The Secret Sisters (2011 UK 11-track CD album - Recorded in Nashville in a mere two weeks in legendary Blackbird studios, with producer Dave Cobb [Waylon Jennings] at the helm, the Secret Sisters' stunning debut album manages to evoke, dare we say, even loftier pop latitudes by tapping into the indie-cool power of the Secret Sisters' mesmerizing vocals. The album was recorded the same way it would have been recorded in the 1950s. No computers or digital equipment were even allowed near the sessions in an effort to capture the sisters' stunning vocal prowess 'as is.' The production team and the girls utilized vintage microphones and 'throwback' recording techniques down to the same type of tape they would have used fifty years ago).
