ED KOWALCZYK Alive (2010 UK 11-track CD album - Ed Kowalczyk hit the road in early 2009 for a series of solo acoustic shows and fell in love with writing at the same time. The result is his first ever solo album, 'Alive' which truly represents who he is as an artist. Produced by CJ Eiriksson [U2, Blue October, Matchbox Twenty] and recorded with Kowalczyk's new band [Ramy Antoun on drums, James Gabbie on lead guitar and Chris Heerlein on bass], the soaring and hard-hitting first single'Grace' and the driving 'Drink [Everlasting Love]', a songwriting collaboration with his friend Chris Daughtry are just two out of the 11 tracks that form a collection of powerful and melodic Rock songs. 'Alive' is Ed Kowalczyk at his best – ferocious yet passionate, while retaining the anthemic and spiritual songwriting he's always been known for).
