QUEEN Complete Studio Session Log Sheets (A truly unique piece of
music history, yet at the time, merely treated as a formality. This set
of Wessex Sound log sheets are dated the week commencing Monday,
August 22nd 1977 through to Sunday, August 28th. Although we have
seen studio log sheets before, this collection offers a comprehensive
insight into the recording procedure, including breakdown of recording
costs for the week, taxi receipts and cancellation notes. Also, from the
dates of the documentation, it places the studio's use during the 6
week period in which the band recorded their News Of The World
album, more specifically, thanks to the detailed logging of time usage,
we can place this towards the end of the session due to the '24-track
mixing' notes. Adding to the value and authenticity of this charming
piece of Queen history is the fact that it bears the signatures of 'J. R.
Deacon' and 'B. H. May', signatures reserved for official documents
only. Each log is complete with it's original blue carbon copy sheet -
an item not to be missed by any true Queen enthusiast).
