A jazz suite inspired by Dylan Thomas's radio play & released as part of Denis Preston's Lansdowne Series. Tracey is joined by Bobby Wellins on Tenor, Jeff Clyne on Bass & Jack Dougan on Drums for this inspired date, full of masterful interplay, including the beautifully restrained 'Starless & Bible Black', the original sixties instrumental version in all its glory.
This is a marvellous collector's copy of this hard to find album. Obtained by its one previous owner, the sleeve shows only a little light scuffing/paper tear to bottom flipback, with minimal discolouration to the unlaminated back, with the disc showing only the lightest cosmetic signs of play. Highly recommended!
