BEN WEBSTER Soulmates (Original 1964 US dark blue and
silver Riverside label 8-track MONO vinyl LP, featuring a
selection of tunes, past and old, that the two men wished to
record together as they found themselves sharing the same
apartment for several months! Backed by Thad Jones, Sam
Jones, Philly Joe Jones and Richard Davis, this is an intriguing,
stimulating and altogether richly rewarding album. Pasted
picture sleeve with price sticker intact plus notes from Bill
Evans on reverse. The sleeve shows some minor edgeqwear
and ringwear, whilst the vinyl shows some superficial scuffing
from storage, however not affecting play, it remains in a
strong Excellent condition. Fantastic for over 60 years old! ).
