Phil Collins Phil Collins & The Hot Tub Club Commemorative Mirror UK memorabilia
|
| Tracklisting / Additional Info: |
The mirror is of landscape design and measures 23" x 33" including the dark wooden frame.
The mirror features a replica of the posters used to advertise the concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on 17-22nd February 1985. These dates were part of the immense 'No Jacket Required World Tour' in support of the album that catapulted Phil to solo success. The 'Hot Tub Club' was the name he gave to his band, who he later renamed 'The Serious Band', after his But Seriously album.
The mirror has a picture of 5 men in hot tubs in the centre with Phil Collins printed in red above the picture and Hot Tub Club printed below the picture, also in red. The image is outlined and bordered in red and yellow.
The bottom portion of the mirror has the concert venue and date details printed in black with 'Sold Out' text in red.
With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, once a successful tour or concert had taken place, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.
Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.
A spectacular and visually impressive display item of historical interest that despite its age remains in perfect condition having been preserved in bubblewrap in the Mel Bush archive for 23 years since it was commissioned.
