Recorded at Abbey Road and Olympic Studios between June and November 1967, by the time of the April '68 release of Odessey And Oracle, the Zombies had effectively split-up. This obviously hampered the album's commercial breakthrough & sales were low as a result.
Condition
The sleeve is strictly graded VG-, the front actually looks great with some light creases to the laminate only. The non-laminated back has some light age discolouration, and unfortunately a very small amount of paper loss where a sticker has been removed.
It is a common misconception that the mono is rarer than the stereo pressing. While the mono has become very desirable in the collectors markets, there were fewer stereo copies pressed.
There are a few minor spindle marks on both labels to indicate play. There are a few scuffs and some light cosmetic surface marks. We have professionally cleaned and play tested the record all the way through & it still sounds brilliant with just the odd light pop or crackle. This is easily graded very good but still sounds excellent.
Of course, the album is consistently in the top 3 when it comes to polls for all time classic British sixties psych records.
