This is a rare promotional issue with the lettering 'PROMOTIONAL RECORD NOT FOR SALE' on both labels.
The labels are clean with vibrant colours but they do possess some spindle marks to signify some play.
There are some minor marks on the vinyl itself which does produce some crackles & pops between tracks and in quieter moments but certainly no scratches or jumps.
Overall a strong VG+ at minimum.
PICTURE SLEEVE
The gatefold sleeve has retained it's colour and body over the years with just minor scuffing to the edges and the lettering on the spine still fully intact and readable.
The lyrics, pictures & background information on the inner of the gatefold sleeve are near mint with strong, glued folded flaps.
However, the front cover does have a small tear, where the sleeve has come away, from where it appears a sticker of some sort has been removed.
There are also several less noticeable splash/stain marks from some unidentified liquid on the lower part of the sleeve.
PRESS RELEASE
This official 4-page 10" x 8" press release really does round off this item - Very rare in it's own right as very few would have been produced, this is in superb condition with the quality paper still retaining its crisp whiteness and with just a minor crease in the top right hand corner.
It features a similar front page image to the insert and on the inner pages provides background information to the Krishna movement, their association with Apple and album release details.
On the back page, there is a long message from George Harrison, dated 31/3/70 and finished with a facsimilie signature and the contact details of both the Apple offices and the Radha Krishna Temple.
INSERT
Includes the original 10" x 8" paper insert which is illustrated on one side with the 'APPLE RECORDS SAPCOR 18' lettering at the bottom.
INNER SLEEVE
The original white Apple inner from that era is in superb condition with just some yellowing around the edges.
