THE SMITHS The Queen Is Dead (A super rare 1986 UK original Rough Trade 23" x 11" unfolded promotional poster for the album release. As seminal album images go this has to be one of the best, featuring the now iconic image of Morrissey's 'cover star' Alain Delon in the Frenech noir classic 'The Unvanquished'. Also includes band logo and title printed in green text across the top, and format information (and 16th June 1986 release date too!) printed along the bottom. A stunning poster which, aside from one small crease to the bottom right hand corner shows only minor wear, has never been displayed and is free of pin holes, rips tears, overall - superb! Somewhere a wall and frame are waiting patiently....).
