MercuryRising Sydney, New South Wales AUSTRALIA Created Sun 8th Nov '09 06:27 (GMT) | | Queen Picture Discs I think it's great that they were released in the 70's, but as for the forgeries that are now available-once all from Mexico and now apparently you can get a complete set from Belgium at $50.00(Aus) each. The artists make no money just the bootleggers. I have started buying up the new 180 Gram reissues, which are fantastic, never to be played (LOL) just to look at of course. I have also been fortunate from EBay to grab ahold of 4 LP Bootlegs from the 70's, may sound hypercritical but there the ones to look out for. Anyone got a spare copy of Roger's first single for sale(1977)???I wish. Tony/Sydney/Australia. | [reply to this topic] |

J.Turner UNITED KINGDOM Created Sun 17th Aug '08 20:34 (GMT) | | Please, correct the description of this item. This is a (withdrawn) Queen promo DVD from a production run of 25,000 -30,000. These were produced for the electronics company Pioneer in 1997 to be launched with a new range of DVD players. They were withdrawn by Queen Productions Ltd. as the DVD players were recalled due to a manufacturing fault and subsequently have been in storage until 1000 were given to QFC members at the Queen convention this year. I wish people would get their facts correct before posting comments on eil.com. | [reply to this topic] |

flat framed in a black surround, which has been FULLY
AUTOGRAPHED in black felt pen by Freddie Mercury, Brian May,
Roger Taylor & John Deacon across each of their faces on thefamiliar
'Hot Space' boxed face design. The style of the signatures is typical of
the era with Freddie and John signing with the thicker end of the felt
pen whereas Brian and Roger have used the thinner edge. A fantastic
and extremely rare opportunity to obtain a true piece of genuine Queen history!)

Queencollector147 Glasgow UNITED KINGDOM Created Thu 5th Jun '08 19:34 (GMT) Edited Thu 5th Jun '08 19:37 (GMT) | | Question to EIL: What is the message on the reverse of this LP? It should be displayed on the bottom left corner of the back sleeve. I've heard that the first and second issues display different messages and differ in value, but I don't know which is which or how much they're roughly worth... My issue displays "Most People Call Us Queen, but What We'd Really Like To Be Called Is King. Thank You To Everone Who Helped...." The image I'm seeing here is slightly blurry, but it looks like mine. I've seen issues which just say "Thank You To Everyone...." but are stated as second issues - any advice please? | [reply to this topic] |

greatest hits vinyl LP, with a tracklisting that differs from other
releases and a unique picture sleeve featuring a superb colour
montage of 'live' images of the band. The sleeve hasa 2" seam split
along the top edge, but is otherwise in excellent condition. The vinyl
only shows some inaudible surface marks and the labels are clear and
bright. A superb copy of this scarce Queen vinyl compilation

Michael Cambridge - UK Northern Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 16th Apr '08 16:46 (GMT) | | Fake? HI James
Thanks for your posting, and further to my email I can confirm that the signature is genuine albeit a rushed example but this is more due to the signing environment (rushed at an Airport) and the fact the record was still inside when it was signed causing the mild compression due to the vinyl ridges. We take the authenticity of such items very seriously with considerable research undertaken. Once again thanks for taking the time out and taking part in our community experience.
Best Wishes
Mike Cambridge - Buyer | [reply to this topic] |
 | | | | | Re: QUEEN I Want To Break Free (Scarce genuine autograph done in
black ball point pen by Freddie on the front of a vinyl 7" sleeve which
has been cut and fixed with rear sleeve with vinyl disc. This hurried
example was signed at an airport in Germany with the 7" still inside
hence the slight crumpling and ridge effect. These have been housed
in a 19" x 7" black surround andwould look great hung on your wall.
With so many nasty internet fake autographs be assured this is the
real deal) **Complete With Certificate Of Authenticity** £ 324.50, USD 541.91, € 363.44 View this product

Many apologies once again. I did manage to speak to EMI earlier on today who told me that it had been late arriving at their end hence the late delivery.
