PHIL BEER BAND Hard Works (2008 UK 23-track double CD by a man who is always guaranteed to be making music somewhere, sometime, with somebody, even with his huge commitment to Show of Hands. His credits, apart from the obvious & the Albion Band include guest spots for Mike Oldfield, Steve Harley & even The Rolling Stones & Little Feat. Never one to sit twiddling his thumbs, he also has the Phil Beer Band on the go & performs solo in his spare time. This double CD pulls together his long out-of-print albums 'Hard Hats' from 1994 & 'The Works' from 1989. This was during the time when Phil was touring with The Rolling Stones and near the beginnings of Show of Hands. Thus this was a great time for Phil and the music reflects this - an essential purchase! TECD132).
