Here at eil.com we take great pride in our recycling efforts practiced throughout the company. Here's a brief outline of our current environmentally friendly practices... |
- all plastic CD cases and damaged compact discs recycled for use in the manufacture of various products such as artificial wood, alarm panels and re-use in the production of CD jewel cases and reflective light lenses. (Polymer Reprocessors)
- all excess packaging materials, cardboard and paper recycled (Smurfit)
- computer systems designed to be as 'paper friendly' as possible resulting in the minimum amount of printing and paper wastage
- office lighting, air conditioning and heating on thermostat and timer control in an effort to conserve energy
- eil.com staff encouraged to use public transport or car share
