The Ramones Ramones - Remastered 180 Gram - Sealed UK vinyl LP album (LP record)
|
| Tracklisting / Additional Info: |
The self-titled debut album for The Ramones was originally released in April 1976. Produced by Craig Leon, the album features various themes including Nazism, violence, drug use, etc.
The Ramones have been given credit for establishing the musical genre 'punk rock' as well as popularizing it years later.
"Clocking in at just under twenty-nine minutes, Ramones is an intense blast of guitar power, rhythmic simplicity and ferocious brevity, a complete rejection of the spangled artifice and hollow, artsy pretensions of 1970s rock. The songs were fast and anti-social, just like the band: 'Beat on the Brat,' 'Blitzkrieg Bop,' 'Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue.'" — rollingstone.com
