JEFFERSON AIRPLANE Jefferson Airplane's Golden Album (Amazing 1968 Japanese-only 14-track deep groove Living Stereo LP, pressed on eye-popping psychedelic multicoloured vinyl! The heavyweight gatefold sleeve is equally stupendous & unique in design, silk laminated on the outside & internally pasted with Japanese text & English lyrics across the inner spread. The sleeve is in Very Good condition with some minor shelf wear visible on the outside, the colours are rich & vivid. There are a series of small songwriter annotations inside the gatefold next to the track titles as well as a build up of foxing on the inside, a common occurence with Japanese paper goods over time, with all print clearly legible. The vinyl is clean & grades Very Good - there is a mottling effect on Side 2 caused by a chemical reaction with the inner bag over time. We have cleaned & play tested & apart from the odd ambient pop or click during play back, this still sounds great. All in all, a fantastic slice of psychedelic vinyl [literally!] deserving of any groovy sixties collection SRA-5121).
