FAIRPORT CONVENTION Babbacombe Lee (1971 UK pink rim 'palm
tree' label 5-track LP, their one concept album based on the life story
of John 'Babbacombe' Lee, a condemned murderer from the
Victorian-age. Comes housed in a matte gatefold picture sleeve with
inside pocket housing an 8-page story booklet and facsimile newspaper
article, complete with lyric inner and and a rare & unused 'Don't Hang
Babbacombe Lee! sticker, which was a bonus with a limited amount of
first batch pressings. The sleeve [VG] has some age wear, mostly
around the edges and a little discolouration. The labels show little
spindle wear and the vinyl has just a few light surface scuffs, remaining
in excellent condition. Nice to find a copy with the bonus sticker
ILPS9176).
