AHMAD JAMAL'S Alhambra (1962 UK 10-track mono LP on a black & white Pye Jazz label, recorded live in Chicago in June the previous year, with backing from Israel Crosby & Vernel Fournier. And they play a blinder, as the reaction of the audienceattest, doffing their hats in appreciation at the end of each number. The sleeve has some foxing & a name annotation on the back, but is otherwise very good, despite a few paper splits at the bottom not interfering with the print.
