Origi nally announced by Mondo Shop in November 2022 with a scheduled December 7th release date, this edition became somewhat of a mystery when it was never officially released for reasons that remain unknown. Incredibly, almost two years later, ahandful of copies began surfacing online, offered only by those who had somehow obtained stock prior to cancellation. As such, this pressing has acquired near-mythical status amongst collectors, and represents the only way to own the official Season 1 soundtrack on vinyl.The album itself features Jung Jaeil’s haunting, tense, and unforgettable score, which became instantly recognisable worldwide following the global phenomenon of Squid Game. Housed in a lavish deluxe faux-leather effect gatefold sleeve, complete with two specially printed inner sleeves and the original pink belly band, making this as much a visual artefact as an audio one.The sleeve, inners, and both heavyweight coloured vinyl discs remain in Near Mint condition, showing minimal evidence of handling or play.
