When wilson phililips came to the dizzy heights of pop fame with their excellent hold on album:every one asked them when are you going to do a album of songs made famous by their parnents back in the 60s.Well after 20 years here it is.The girls sing their hearts out on this album.Theres 12 tracks in all:five from the mammas and paps including monday monday and twevle thirty,and seven from the beach boy songwriter brian wilson,including do it again and fun fun fun.the girls give their all on this album.Carnie and Wendy Wilson are the daughers of Brian wilson:Chynna philips is the daughter of John and Michelle phillips.:unlike other female groups/bands those girls DO have a musical background.This album is a cracker and well worth tracking down.I know one thing the girls parnents would be proud of them:and no wonder.A brillant album in every way.Andy. | [reply to this topic] |
