Dermot Molloy Drogheda, Co.Louth IRELAND (REPUBLIC OF) Created Tue 26th Aug '08 15:04 (GMT) | | ogdens nut gone flake LP picture disc Well what can I say, an absolute classic album from a very under-rated band of the sixties. The opening track is pure acid sounding welcoming the listener to the rest of the LP. The one song on the album I'm not fond of is Lazy Sunday, possibly 'cos it's forever on radio stations. The second half of the album is semi-concept,a story of Happiness Stan finding out where the other half of the moon is!! All songs on this half are introduced by the late great Stanley Unwin speaking his Unwinese!! A must for any serious collector of great sixties albums or anyone interested in Mod bands of the sixties, or even anyone interested in good music!!!!!!!!!!!CHECK IT OUT AND PLAY LOUD | [reply to this topic] |
