a word of caution - partial hijack
Hi - just dug my laser etched Megadeth disc out of its storage box and discovered what I initiallly thought was water / coffee damage after some panic and frantic checking of the rest of my collection I realised it was only this disc.

What appears to have happened over the years is the plastic sleeve has managed to react with the disc itself and leave some new marks etched in the surface. I would suggest to any other owners that they store them separately to avoid this for themselves.

For info - the disc was stored up right in an LP box (of 80's design :o) ) in my home office so no extreme changes of temperature or light

Rust In Peace coffin box promo
Hi, I have a coffin box promo, that I received from the band on their Rust in Peace tour. It was autographed by all the members (Mustaine, Friedman, Ellefson, Menza) just wondering what this might be worth to any of you guys on here. Having heard this album I can recommend this to all fans of the band, they are back on form. This beats the 2007 album 'United Abominations' & 2004's 'The System Has Failed' hands down, although it will take a lot to beat 'Rust In Peace' - the sound quality is so much better than that of Metallica's 'Death Magnetic'!
