BARDE Barde (1978 UK 11-track LP by the French Canadian Celtic traditional band, recorded in Ottawa but with a sound that crosses the musical divide that unites all the historically Celtic areas of the world, from the Basque region to the High lands of Scotland, the mountains of Wales, the rugged coasts of Cornwall & the tranquil beauty of Eire. The sleeve shows just light shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent with few signs of play. A band well worthy of investigation GES1189)

BARDE Images (1978 US 11-track LP by the French Canadian Celtic band who supplement their Bodhrans & Bones, Celtic Harp, Concertina, Guitars, Mandolin, Tin Whistles, Recorders, Fiddles & pipes with a Polymoog! Don't worry, it works out just fi ne. Their music may be traditional in flavour but their approach isn't. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear & some edge scuffing but the vinyl remains near 'as new' with few signs of play. Another album well worth a listen FF217)
