Here's a one previous owner copy of this near impossible to find [certainly for us!] Vertigo collectable, rescued from the tail end of an otherwise standard seventies LP collection. The sleeve must be one of the toughest Roger Dean covers to find if you're looking for original cover art by this great designer. A very subtle but effective blue title layout on an all over red, with die-cut spray stencil effect, the sleeve appears in Excellent condition. All text is legible & the print remains unblemished. The die-cut area is very delicate & thin but fully intact & secure. There is some shelfwear around the edges including a bit of scuffing resulting in some mild paper loss in one corner but this is forgiveable considering it was never laminated. Very nice indeed & complete with a clean & crisp 'swirl' inner bag.
The labels are the first press design & the heavyweight vinyl appears beautifully clean. There are some spindle marks by the centre hole to indicate some turntable action & no blemishes to the print.
On close inspection we would grade the vinyl Excellent. There are a handful of very faint paper scuffs & the odd mild hairline under a bright light, none of which effects play & sound quality remains exceptional. Quite simply a must for the Vertigo collector. We're just pleased to finally be able to stock one!
