CREAM Disraeli Gears (Late 60s Rhodesian 11-track mono vinyl LP, pressed by Mackays using UK Reaction 593003 plates on to heavyweight vinyl, front laminated pinched spine picture sleeve. The sleeve clearly has the 'MACKAYS' stamp in pink on the back, but otherwise is a clone of the second issue Reaction sleeve from the UK, even to the extent of still having 'Reaction' in the bottom right corner. Another anomaly with this edition is that the labels are clearly marked 'Stereo', eventhough the album is actually the mono version. The sleeve shows little in the way of shelfwear with just some light creasing to the laminate in places. The vinyl shows just a couple of light surface scuffs which have no effect on play. In fact, upon playtesting, this album displays all the beefy goodness of an original Reaction press, with background noise at a minimum. An amazing copy of this hard to find issue in beautiful mono LPHM84710)
